Amy Keding graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in chemistry while playing on the varsity volleyball team. She then moved back to her home state to study optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, where she also graduated magna cum laude in May 2016. She also was invited into the Golden Key Honor Society for her leadership and dedication to the profession of optometry.
Amy first came to Swagel Wootton Hiatt Eye Center as an optometry school student, where she completed a 3-month internship prior to being hired. She is excited to continue with a fellowship in ocular disease and management of pre- and post-operative patients at SWHEC. Dr. Keding provides comprehensive eye exams including primary care, fitting contact lenses as well management of ocular disease and post-operative management.
In her spare time she enjoys seeing her family, playing volleyball, hiking, skiing and traveling.
